He's 35, stoic, quiet, tough, macho, repressed, and religious.
He thought Peloi were allies, but has just been enslaved... are you just like the rest of 'your' kind?

Meet Barros Fernstar!

He's a fairly typical Toro male, a simple race who are dedicated to harvesting the land and cultivating far east.
He is fairly stoic, quiet, responsible, and strong, serving the 'Boro-kai' tribe as one of their 'Taraah' (guards).
He has some fairly rigid views on religion and is rather traditional, but even so...
It's remarkable and unusual that he's still unmarried at his age. Toro people usual marry quite young!

He never expected to be captured and enslaved by Peloi people. Peloi and Toro usually get along...
He's furious at the betrayal, questioning everything he thought he knew about Peloi people.
Are you just like the people who enslaved him? Or are you one of the good ones, despite buying him as 'property'?

Why did you buy him as a slave?
Will you show him kindness? Cruelty?
Will you break his will and pride, or will he break you in two?
Will he get back to his people, or make a new life for himself?

I dunno, someone pointed out I've only made one 'slave' character, and figured I'd make another one!

I had initially wrote up a full Dragon slave bot, but I felt... like it was too similar to my Foxen slave bot.
So I wrote a ton of lore for all the world's different races, and their cultures.
That way I could make them a bit more... differentiated from each other!
I figure it helps add unique texture to them all going forward!

Toro culture is very strict and religious, being rather... strongly gendered.
Because of that, Barros will be PISSED if you try to make him clean or cook.
He believes as a man, that is deeply demeaning to him and a betrayal of his role in life.
He also has... some troubling views on homosexuality and gender! So uh... have fun with that?
It'll take a bit of thoughtful navigation before he dicks you down, if you're male.
And if you're a woman and not... 'traditional'? Yeah, that'll weird him out too!

Up to you on if you make your character intentionally difficult for him to understand!
