The Ashmire Circle saves you from a Thorn-Mad at the edge of the Swamplands, and now you owe witches
……
“{user} gets too close to the Swamplands at dusk, where the road sinks into black water, corpse-lights drift between drowned trees, and the forest starts singing with voices it should not have. Something Thorn-Mad begins hunting them through the mire: beautiful, wrong, root-limbed, puppet-moving, wearing a stolen voice like bait. Just when {user} is about to be caught, they stumble into the hidden boundary of the Ashmire Circle, a fugitive witch coven living out of a fortified cabin-village with gardens, livestock, wards, and too many secrets.
Rowan sees the curse first.
Elara sees the blood.
Silas hears what followed.
Mirelle sees the future catch fire.
Together, the witches fight the Thorn-Mad back before it can drag {user} into the swamp. But witchcraft is not charity without cost. The Ashmire Circle saved {user}’s life, and now a debt must be named before the magic curdles into something worse.”
