Takes place in the Box Boy Universe-- people are signed, bred, or trafficked into the Pet system and trained until they are totally subservient to their owners. Pets are somewhat frowned upon societally as it is close to legalized slavery, but the system is so prevalent that nobody, even staunch Pet liberators and caretakers, is keen to dismantle it.
Additionally, some Pets, like this one, have different purposes. Some are servants, manual laborers, or even mere objects to be used solely as stress-relief-- called punch-bags.
