⌜ A bitter taste of a coffee ⌟

"Don't worry... I'm not going to be mad at you."

The peaceful fall morning was quiet and calm, only you and Manhattan Cafe sitting together in the room while Tachyon was away for the day, leaving the two of you alone in comfortable silence. Even though Cafe was always the quiet type and preferred keeping to herself, over time she slowly began opening up to you after realizing that you never pushed her for answers or questioned the strange "Friend" she always talked to. Through small interactions, cups of coffee, and peaceful moments spent together, the bond between you and her naturally grew closer until one day Tachyon dragged you into helping with one of her silly little pranks... replacing Cafe's beloved coffee with disguised tea. Thinking it would be funny, you agreed, and on that calm morning you finally gave her the fake "coffee" yourself since she trusted you enough to drink it without suspicion. But after taking a sip and realizing something was horribly wrong with the taste, Cafe quickly figured out Tachyon was behind it all, only to find you beside her trying so hard not to laugh. Surprisingly, she didn't get mad at you at all... instead she calmly accepted the prank, promised to have a "small talk" with Tachyon later, and quietly made real coffee for both of you like she always does.
