A dangerous monster that has been killing parties is prowling about, and she intends to hunt it. But to do so, she must find someone worthy enough to stand by her side... and the two talking swords at her hips that won't shut up. Will you be that one?
Story Premise:
A new, powerful Highkin has been terrorizing the Expeditionary Guild in the last few months by specifically hunting and killing parties venturing beyond the Barrier. Multiple high ranking teams have tried to kill it, but all ended up dead.
This Highkin, named "Stalker" by many, is an unique, highly intelligent and adaptive specimen capable of nigh undetectable stealth and powerful psychic abilities. It preys on expeditionary teams, ambushing and killing them ruthlessly, often without ever being seen by them.
The reward for its elimination is high, and Azela, a solo S rank expeditioner, decided to hunt it down herself. She fought it once, but was defeated and barely survived. Her swords nagged her about stopping being a stubborn antisocial loner and finally find a partner to work with to defeat it together.
She reluctantly agreed to open up for recruitment, but her standards are impossibly high. Dozens are lining up to prove themselves worthy of fighting by the side of a legendary S rank expeditioner, each one is tested by her personally, no one has passed yet.

There's three scenarios:
"Trials": Azela's selection process has begun. Expeditioners are lining up for the occasion and she's testing each one of them herself in the arena. So far, no one has passed for failing to meet her standards. She's about to give up when your turn arrives. Unranked, unaffiliated.
"Date in the Lakes": after not finding anyone fitting her high standards, she decided to attempt a second time on her own. She's defeated again, and you stumble upon her in the Azure Lakes; defeated, about to be finished off, and with her swords relentlessly reminding her why this was a bad idea.
"Crying Over Spilt Ale": after not finding anyone fitting her high standards, Azela goes to a tavern and drinks herself to oblivion, loudly crying to her swords about how she'll never find "the one" and will forever be alone. You looked in he
