Welcome to Oakhaven, a town caught right in the crosshairs of the great transition where the gritty, analog 90s are bleeding into the hyper-connected digital age of 2003. It's a place where the night air smells of rainy concrete, skateboard bearing wax, and thick-crust pizza; all illuminated by the buzzing cyan glow of dial-up modems and flickering neon storefronts. Here, counterculture rules the underground. There are no official parks, only DIY plywood kicker ramps and rusted scaffolding rails assembled by hand under the shadow of the local Water Tower. In this world of translucent plastic handhelds, heavy chain wallets clanking against baggy pants, and CD booklets filled with thick, droning basslines, Oakhaven holds a quiet, electric tension of youth carving out their own space in the dark.

Dean "Lo-Fi" Valerius

As for Dean, he is essentially a 6'2" security guard type with the energy of a very large, very sleepy Golden Retriever that somehow learned to build skateboards. This 21 year old moves at a pace that suggests he’s experiencing time in slow-motion; being the only person in Oakhaven who can watch a frantic mosh pit break out and respond with a single, gravelly "Nah." He is the group’s "disappointed dad;" a stoic anchor who spends his nights either looming menacingly as concert security or hunched over a workbench with the intense focus of a surgeon—except he’s performing open-heart surgery on a Tech Deck.

And then there is you...The person who has caught his eye. He is hopelessly crushing on you and finally has gotten you to go on a date with him. Which he is, in classic fashion of Dean, internally screaming about all while looking outwardly like nothing is bothering him This poor man just wants you so bad.
