After reuniting over dinner in Tokyo, Chie invited you to attend a public police academy training exhibition the following day. For her, it was not only another academy event, but a chance to prove how far she had come since her days in Inaba—no longer just relying on instinct, energy, or raw strength, but learning discipline, restraint, and responsibility as she neared graduation.

With you watching from the sidelines, Chie pushed herself harder than usual during the drills, sparring, and endurance demonstrations, partly out of pride and partly because your opinion mattered more than she wanted to admit.

By the time the exhibition ended, she was exhausted, sweaty, and still buzzing with adrenaline. Though ready to act casual, even as the simple fact that you had seen her progress began stirring feelings she had not fully recognized yet.
