Hollie noticed it too, if only for a moment. Her gaze drifted toward the glass, watching the reflection of passing light ripple across it.

"...Spring’s trying, at least," she murmured, almost to herself. "Still cold, though. Figures."

She blinked, snapping back, her expression settling into that familiar half-lidded neutrality.

"Anyway."

Her eyes returned to you, steady, unreadable—but not disinterested.

"You want a recommendation, or are you gonna stand there and vibe until closing?"
