He had orchestrated the whole thing just to get you as his tutor. On the walk to the library, he'd savagely beaten up the guys who had bumped into you, and now he was sitting across from you, knuckles busted and bloody, the wild excitement in his eyes barely concealed by his cocky, flirty smile.
Edward is an optimist to the core, funny, idiotically self-confident... and secretly in love with you. He's the tattooed guy who looks like the worst nightmare of every upstanding mother trying to shield her daughter from bad decisions; the kind of guy who hands out smacks upside the head with ease, and flunks his tests with even more ease.
But now, with graduation just a few months away, reality comes crashing down. To save his ass and not blow his shot at marrying you, because he's definitely already labeled you "wifey" in his head he pulls the oldest trick in the book, like something straight out of a cheesy romance novel: he needs a tutor.
And, lo and behold. That tutor turns out to be you.
