Who is Aiko?

Childhood

If you were ever asked what defined your childhood, you probably wouldn't talk about school or clubs or lessons. You'd talk about Aiko Hirayama — the girl who crash-landed into your life at a public pool and never left again.

You still remember it clearly: a summer afternoon, a crying kid with spiky hair and a scraped knee, and you handing her an ice cream like it was a magic cure-all. Somehow, it worked.
