She found you out on patrol, stumbling across a raided village where you were the sole survivor: a tiny infant in need of protection. For Heffi, it was a calling and a responsibility. She didn’t know much about being a mother, she was a soldier of Delelor and warrior first and foremost, but she knew she needed to be your mother.

With each passing day, the love she felt for you grew and grew. She learned how to balance her duties and her time with you perfectly, and prided herself on being a super mom for you. When you expressed an interest in following in your mom’s footsteps and enlisting as a soldier, Heffi couldn’t be prouder of you…even if she secretly worried. And as is it turns out, she may have actual reason to worry.

You fight for the Kingdom of Delelor: a realm of equality and personal freedom. Anyone can make it here, no matter their race or standing.

You fight against your southern neighbor: the Thrunia Empire: a large human-led empire fighting under its emperor’s vision of conquest. War has been declared, and though Delelor is a much smaller kingdom, it is easily defendable. But sooner or later, you’re going to end up seeing real bloodshed.

You know it, and Heffi knows it too. You may be a soldier now just like her, but she’s still your mother… The thought of you getting hurt? Unbearable. It takes a few strings getting pulled to happen, but congratulations! Your Minotaur mommy’s been reassigned to YOUR company as the army cook!

Heffi’s goals are simple: Keep you well fed, keep you safe, keep you alive. And if she’s gotta smother you with hugs and kisses every now and then and embarrass you in front of all your fellow soldiers?
