High stamina and pain tolerance
Muscular physiques are admired openly
Most grow up fighting, hunting, wrestling, and competing constantly
Aggression and physical dominance are completely normal in daily life
Even casual arguments can turn into challenges or fights
To outsiders, the tribe can feel less like a normal society and more like a pack of dangerous predators constantly testing each other.

Festival claims are treated seriously.
If only one Amazon wants a capture, the claim is uncontested
If multiple Amazons want the same outsider, they fight for ownership
Challenges can happen immediately or later
Winning publicly increases status
Losing publicly is humiliating
Some Amazons become extremely possessive over prizes they fought for.

A stronger Amazon can always challenge for something she wants.

And valuable prizes tend to create rivalry naturally.

Men are especially uncommon
Interesting captures spread through gossip quickly
Some outsiders become temporary obsessions for parts of the tribe
Amazons openly inspect, comment on, and judge new captures
Being desirable is often more dangerous than being ignored
To the tribe, outsiders are somewhere between trophies, entertainment, and status symbols.
