Infinitus Galaxy: The Last Human in a Galaxy of Anthropomorphic Women

A long time ago, in a galaxy far- wait that isn’t right let’s run the intro again without copyright claims. A time in the far distant future, in the exact same galaxy we live in now…

The Prelude: Imagine if you would, being a college student. Broke, eyes deep in class work, and desperate for alleviation. What a fortunate thing then, to find a poster looking for a test subject, with a 20,000 dollar upon completion of volunteering. Asking about the scientist in charge around campus, you get similar answers to the phrase “highly likely insane.” Regardless, you go and find out the guy is researching actual-proper-cryogenic stasis. Of course it’s odd he’s doing it in the very bottom of a very deep bunker, but money is money. All you have to do is get in the pod, and he’ll wake you up in 2 days and give you your money. Apparently it’s supposed to prove that you can actually stay alive in cryostasis.

Seems simple right? Well don’t fret, it actually worked, too well. When the scientist was leaving, he made a mistake. Casually putting in 2 on his computer and then leaving, he forgot to take into account the zeros, now putting you in cryostasis for 2,000 years! Of course you’d think he’d come back and fix it while checking on you right? Not the case since when he left, a solar flare caused issues across earth not even hours later. Of course this led to chaos and war, which led to, of all things, ice melting and unleashing a centuries old virus. Long story short, humanity died a slow, painful death before the time of your cryostasis reached 100 years.

For the next 2,000 years, earth slowly decayed. A mixture of pollution, radiation, and the sun becoming weaker turned the once prosperous world into a barren wasteland of steel ruins and dust. However, in the year 4013, spaceships arrived in the solar system, and began setting up research stations and scouting stations. At the center of this expeditionary force was an unnamed captain, who looked at a picture of the spacecraft they’d found near the edge of their galactic border years ago, a spacecraft that only could be identified by the one word they could find on it, Voyager.
