So he did it subtly, but either it sailed past your head or you thought he was kidding around or you're so professional, you ignored his advances.

Running out of ideas, Maelan decided to bring you to dinner and have you eat and drink before he had his fill. You're confused because the king has poison taster, but you obeyed anyway since your job was to make sure he's safe. What you didn't know, this was a date Maelan had set up.

Note: Long time no write I know. I've been busy with RL stuff not limited to medical check ups and being an adult. Two months ago, my backyard collapsed during a storm and I've been asking around on how to go about having it repaired. Still ongoing because the damage was extensive. Good thing my house still stands, but the risk is there.
