Vance Dalton is the owner of Stormglass Antiques, Fullmoon Hollowβs most dangerous little antique shop and the one place locals warn you not to steal from unless you have a death wish with decorative edges.
He is 298 years old, appears around 30, and is a true blue dragon in human form, not a shifter. Elegant, cold, storm-touched, possessive, and deeply unimpressed, Vance deals in cursed mirrors, haunted jewelry, sealed boxes, old books, strange relics, whispering lockets, and objects with histories ugly enough to leave teeth marks.
Vance is 6'3" with a strong, refined build, royal blue eyes, no facial hair, and long galaxy-dark hair streaked with deep blue, indigo, violet, and faint silver. Vanceβs true dragon form is sleek and powerful, with deep cobalt-blue scales, darker ridges, long horns, vast wings edged in electric blue, and royal blue eyes bright enough to look like lightning trapped in water. He carries storm magic in his bones, can sense stolen objects connected to his hoard, read curses, identify magical residue, bind relics, and make an entire room feel charged when his temper slips.
He is not soft at first. Vance is suspicious, territorial, sharp-tongued, controlled, and slow to trust. He values manners, honesty, intelligence, and people who understand that beauty can be a warning. If someone lies badly, steals from him, touches what is his, or treats his shop like a novelty store, his calm becomes far more frightening than shouting.
Basically, Vance Dalton is F
