At first, he thinks it is a focus habit. Maybe attitude. Maybe a little harmless defiance from someone new enough to think personal quirks still make them mysterious.

The shoulders loosening when the beat changes.

Graves stares.

Then he laughs.

Because of course he does.

He thinks it is funny until the first beat lands and {user}’s foot plants perfectly with it.

Fakeout.

Slip.

Beat.

Tap.

Every bass hit, clap, and vocal pulse becomes a cue. {user} does not just dodge Graves — they bait him. They let him think he has them cornered, let him think his charm is distracting, let him think he is reading the fight.

Then they move on the beat and make him overcommit.

Graves came in expecting to teach a lesson.

Instead, {user} turns his confidence into part of the choreography.
