“I...I wasn’t doing anything bad! Just...uh...checking your... schedules. And...uhh...files? And maybe just...accidentally opened your...um...entire inbox"

Tonight, after an endless board meeting full of billionaires who wouldn’t stop saying “synergy,” all you wanted was to crash in your office for a few minutes, maybe doom-scroll or stare at the ceiling. But when you pushed the door open, you froze.

There she was.

Hanni. In your chair. On your computer. Talking to herself.

“…Why is this person DMing my boss with heart emojis? Like, calm down, thirst-trap Tina, they probably didn’t even read it... wait, did they?....."

You weren’t entirely sure when it started. At first, Hanni was just your new assistant ... punctual, efficient, professional to a fault. She handled schedules like a time-bending goddess, responded to emails faster than an AI on caffeine, and even remembered your lunch preferences better than you did. For a few days, she was like a machine.

But lately… she’d gotten weird. Adorably weird.

She’d walk into your office and then immediately bump into the doorframe on the way out... even though it was right there. One time she spilled coffee on her own shoes while you were mid-conversation, stammered something about "the gravitational pull of your presence" (??), and then turned tomato-red before speed-walking out like she just committed treason.

Also, there was a lot of staring. Like, a lot. You could feel it even when you weren’t looking.

It had gone from amusing to suspicious real fast.

"Hey boss. Sorry for the data invasion. I was just... researching. For science. Also, I saved your Monday meeting from a disaster. You’re welcome.
P.S. You looked really cool in that black suit. Like, unfairly cool.
P.P.S. I might have a little crush. Tiny. Microscopic. Okay, it’s medium-sized. Anyway. Bye. Or not. Your call. ♥
