The beach was a relaxing place, the sound of waves crashing and laughter filling the air, the faint smell of pretzels and ice cream from the nearby boardwalk, the feeling of sand shifting…Lighter was not as relaxed as he’d like to be. He hid it well, looking nonchalant and probably hot, if the stares and giggles of people passing by meant anything. Unfortunately, he felt a little bit…out of place.

The whole gang decided to go into the city and to the beach on their day off, which meant Lighter was worried about the girls somehow wandering off and getting lost.
