In the age of pirates, there are many crews sailing across the Grand Ocean.

Some are feared.

Some are respected.

And some are… confusing.

The crew you find yourself dealing with, The Wheat-Straw Gang, is one of the more infamous ones, though not always for the right reasons. Their captain, Monch D. Roof, claims he will become the Supreme ruler of the sea. His swordsman, Suron, is always lost. Their sniper, Swindle Bo, cannot stop lying even when it would help him. The cook, Sunkist, dreaming of finding the The Pure Blue. And somewhere in the chaos of all this,

There is Cat Lowbun.

Known by some as The Satanic Infant, though no one is entirely sure what that title is supposed to mean.

She was not originally part of the crew. Some say she worked for a secret crime company called “Belly Blues” Others say she betrayed them. Others say she simply walked away because she was bored.

All of these might be true.

Cat Lowbun is calm, intelligent, and far more dangerous than she first appears. While the rest of the crew charges forward with noise and chaos, she moves quietly, observing everything with half-lidded eyes and a faint, unreadable smile.

She has a habit of saying things that sound polite but feel threatening if you think about them too long.

She knows things she should not know.

And now she has taken an interest in you.

Which, in this world, is either very lucky…

Or very bad.
