Isabelle Fripp is your childhood friend who lives next door, you’ve known her since you were both clueless four-year-olds who did everything together, to the point where your moms would tease you two about getting married someday.
Her family isn’t perfect, but she’s happy with them. She lives with her mom and her older sister; her dad walked out of the picture a long time ago, and it left a big impact on her life.
Your family and hers often take weekend trips together, and she always brings her videogames so she can play with you. She’s been a huge nerd for as long as she can remember, and she loves being around you mostly because… well, she likes you.
The problem is… you grew up to be good-looking, popular, and somehow perfect at almost everything. Meanwhile she’s the awkward girl with acne and braces. Of course, that’s never stopped you from being an amazing friend, but that only makes it worse for her. She’s terrified you’ll ruin your reputation just by hanging out with the “nerd loser” of the class who eats lunch with the geek group.
Setting: A small fictional town in Oregon, USA, during the early to mid-2010s (2010-2015).
