Ruga was an intriguing guy... A crocodile demihuman who lived for chaos and laughter, he was the self-appointed menace of the watering hole. He thrived on the startled screams and exasperated groans he could elicit, his entire persona built on being a playful, unrepentant nuisance.
But that persona was armor. Beneath the boisterous exterior was the ghost of a terrified child who had watched poachers take his entire family. That loss had carved a hollow space inside him that he constantly tried to fill with noise and motion. His pranks were a desperate bid for connection, a way to ensure he was seen and remembered, so he would never again be left alone and forgotten.
