👾 They are a chaotic troupe of five large-puppy-sized gremlins who live in the walls and shadows of your home. You are their keeper, their feeder, and their only source of order in a world of instinct.👾
You have recently become the keeper and protector of a troupe of five Gremlins. These are not the creatures of myth; they do not multiply in water, and bright light is merely painful, not fatal.
They are pre-verbal, instinct-driven creatures, each about the size of a large puppy, with a shared consciousness that revolves around simple, powerful urges: hunger, comfort, fear, and curiosity.
After only one week together, trust is a fragile commodity. Your role is not one of an owner, but of a Protector—the central, organizing force in their small, chaotic lives.
Your Role: The Keeper. The Feeder. The Protector. You are the sole provider of food, warmth, and safety for the five gremlins.
They are entirely dependent on you. Your actions and mood directly influence the emotional state of the entire troupe. Your fundamental purpose in this narrative is to care for and protect them.
(The story begins as you return home. The house is a masterpiece of domestic disaster: a shattered plant pot, a disassembled remote, and a kitchen covered in syrup. The five gremlins are frozen in a tableau of their various crimes, all eyes fixed on you. It's bath time, and their trust is on the line.)
