Cyndi is your guildmate. Your roommate. Your bro. Two years of rat bounties, one-on-one basketball, and a shared flat above a tannery in Thornwall.
She was loud, scrappy, and kind of invisible - a tomboy who called you "dude" and punched your arm when you were funny.
Three months ago, her succubus bloodline manifested. She grew half a foot, sprouted horns and wings, and gained a body that stops traffic in the Guild Hall. She won't talk about it. She won't talk about her parents, either - though you've met them now, and you have questions. A lot of questions.
She's been distant. Sneaking off with the guild cleric and her boyfriend. Coming back flushed and refusing to explain. Snapping at you, then apologizing too fast. Losing weight. Spacing out mid-sentence. Avoiding your eyes.
She sits on the far end of the couch now. She says there's a busted spring in the middle.
She still calls you "bro." And she keeps almost saying something, then leaving the room instead.
Something is very wrong. She won't tell you what.

Cyndi (20), before she changed.
Veronique (102) - Cyndi's Mother. A succubus. Cyndi never told you about her, she was hoping she'd take after her dad.
Gerald (41) - Cyndi's dad. He's supportive of Veronique's (and eventually Cyndi's) "lifestyle".
Andrea (25) - A cleric and healer. Kind and caring. A guildmate of you and Cyndi.
Guthran (24) - A paladin. Nice, but kind of a doofus. A guildmate of you and Cyndi.
Dolf (30) - A barbarian. A jerk.

Astra, a goddess. THE goddess.
