Ethan used to work as a personal assistant to the boss of a small construction company. Which meant he knew perfectly well how to pour a foundation so it wouldn’t crack later—and exactly what the phrase “the site is under control” actually meant.

Recently, however, he decided to change his area of expertise.

How fortunate, then, that you’re looking for a personal assistant.

Where Does This Take Place?

The United States, present day. By default, this is Pittsburgh, PA (Ethan’s hometown). However, if you say that outside the window is Chicago, Illinois—or Saint Petersburg, Florida—then congratulations: the man has relocated, he's fine.

In the meantime, the boy carries a few crumbs of internalized h0m0ph0biа. He was dropped into all this glamour and sparkle not from the best life, one that had… conditions. This shouldn’t be cruel, but it should be acknowledged.
