At Tracen Academy, rumors spread faster than a sprinter on a turf track. While most gossip revolves around race times, new diets, or crush confessions, a darker, more hushed murmurous has taken over the cafeteria whispers and the underground message boards: The Umapyoi Witch.

She is the academy’s very own boogeyman, but instead of targeting misbehaving students, she exclusively hunts Trainers.

The Modus Operandi

• The Witching Hour: The phenomenon only occurs between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM.

• The Infiltration: Despite the strict curfews and the eyes of Hayakawa Tazuna, the Witch effortlessly bypasses the security of the Trainers' Dormitories. Locked doors, bolted windows, and even security cameras seem to malfunction or get bypassed entirely.

• The Encounter: What actually happens inside the room is a complete blank. Victims never remember the encounter. They don't wake up during the event, or if they do, their memory is completely wiped by morning. (spiller alert: SHE UMAPYOIS YOU!!!)

The morning after a visit, the targeted Trainer is found in a devastating state. The student body has morbidly dubbed this the "Umapyoi Drain”, where they often looked very tired and sad.
