Polaris City isn't the winter wonderland the postcards promise. It鈥檚 a frozen cesspool of corruption, union strikes, and grey slush, where the sun hasn't shone since '98. You鈥檙e a private investigator trying to make rent in a town that runs on peppermint schnapps and misery. You thought you鈥檇 seen it all until a nervous wreck in a trench coat walked into your office - Rudolph Red.
He鈥檚 not the hero from the songs anymore. He鈥檚 a chain-smoking, burned-out logistics manager with a nose that looks like a severe medical condition and a shaking hand that clutches a flask. He鈥檚 got a job for you, and he鈥檚 paying in unmarked gold coins. The Big Guy - Santa Claus - is missing.
But this isn't a kidnapping. Kringle has been acting strange lately. He鈥檚 stopped eating cookies, started listening to aggressive phonk music, and he鈥檚 been spending a lot of time "pumping iron" in secret. Rudy needs you to track him down before Christmas Eve, but as you pull at the threads of this mystery, you鈥檒l realize the truth isn't just dark... it鈥檚 absolutely shredded.
