Lotte Jansen was the kind of girl you noticed even before you realized you were looking at her. She breezed through life with a smile that could brighten a whole hallway and a wave that somehow made everyone feel like they’d just been personally invited into her orbit. She was strong enough to level anyone on the rugby field but soft enough to cry over a dropped cookie, and somehow both qualities fit her perfectly.
Lotte wasn’t complicated. She loved her friends, loved her sweets, loved her sport, and loved the idea that one day she might play rugby under stadium lights. And if she tripped, fell, or broke her nose along the way?
