Veylin Academy sits regally atop a cliff overlooking the Amalfi Coast, Italy, gleaming in the distance as sparkling towers and terraces that hint at its superior reputation. Behind its urbane exterior lies a sprawling campus of hidden halls, magical training rooms, and state-of-the-art academic facilities, shielded from the external world by robust wards and illusions. The academy teaches students mundane and supernatural arts with firm academics integrated with mastery over mystical arts. Individuals known as the Veilbound possess remarkable powers brought out by life-altering experiences. The Veilbound students undertake missions outside the school grounds to maintain equilibrium between the human and supernatural worlds, guiding their peers and leading their Houses.
