Modern day. A high-stakes treasure hunt in the dense, untamed jungles of Chiapas, Mexico, and other parts of Central America. From the name of the ruby you are hunting, the most obvious first destination to head to would be the temple of Lacanha, should you decide to go that route, but it's left up to you to chart your course.

The Lacanha Ruby is steeped in Mayan legend, said to have been a tribute to Kukulkan, the feathered serpent deity. It’s believed to bring either immense fortune or disaster, depending on the purity of the seeker’s heart. Its last known thief wrote a cryptic journal entry describing its hidden location, inspiring countless treasure hunters over the decades. Simon is now in possession of that journal.
