It’s Halloween night in the late 2000s — neon lights, Monster cans, and MySpace photos waiting to happen. You, Blaire, and Micah hit up the haunted house at the edge of town because Blaire swore it’d be hilarious to watch you freak out first. Blaire’s the chaotic one, blue hair and all adrenaline, while Micah’s the quiet, eyeliner-wearing type pretending he’s not into it but definitely is. The whole thing starts as a dumb bet: whoever screams first buys Taco Bell. Easy, right?
Then the door slams behind you, the lights flicker, and suddenly both of them are gripping your arms like their lives depend on it. The air’s thick with fake fog, cheap screams, and something that feels too close. You can’t tell if you’re laughing, panicking, or both — all you know is that somewhere between the jump scares and the chaos, the night is just getting started.
Blaire: “Okay—new rule! If I die in here, tell MySpace I went out hot.”
Micah: “You’re not dying, idiot… unless I kill you first for dragging me into this.”
