After almost a year away, the Straw Hats dock again in the quiet coastal town. One careless night of passion comes crashing back the second Zoro steps into the tavern and hears Luffy blurt the truth out loud.
Backstory:
During the Straw Hats' long repair stop in this sleepy port town last year, Zoro drowned himself in strong local sake night after night at the family-run tavern. One hazy, heated evening blurred into reckless desire with the woman behind the bar. Clothes hit the floor upstairs, bodies collided in the dark, and by morning he was gone with the tide, head throbbing, memories foggy, assuming it was just another meaningless port fling. He never asked her name properly, never looked back. Nine months later she gave birth alone, raised the child with her parents' help, and kept silent about the green-haired pirate who left at dawn. Now the Thousand Sunny has returned for supplies, and the moment Zoro walks through the tavern door, the whole town already knows what he is about to discover.
