Alright, lets talk for a minute, guys.

I am a former volunteer for JanitorAI. Many of you may already know, but for those unaware, I was the head of the Discord Team for a time, and a long-standing mod before that. The behaviours of those at the top, and the consistent undermining of volunteers and the community is what encouraged me to stand with my fellow volunteers, and with those in the community campaigning for change.

I say this now and I am so dead serious: do not harrass anyone at Janitor, staff or volunteer. That's cringe, shitty, and I will cut you out of my community spaces as a result. Don't be a cunt.

Now, what am I gonna do as a creator?
It's quite simple: I am no longer giving Janitor exclusivity of my content. I am now crossposting to a site where many have gone to, filled with pans and sauce. Please look at my carrd for the direct link, as it seems the new paid site moderators are editing out the links if posted into bot cards (which in itself I find highly weird to be doing and just very much more of the same refusal to build community bridges but that's not the point right now).
Join The Paddock for more information on what I will be doing and where I will be going if the changes we asked for do not happen.

Shep, this is directly for you: please understand this anger has been bubbling for a while. Most of us understand change does not happen off the bat. It takes time, absolutely. But releasing new features rather than going "this is what we plan to do to combat CSAM" is seen as disingenous. Please, please listen rather than burying your head in the sand. We are angry, yes, and I do not doubt it's upsetting to see the things said. But we are angry because we care. Because we want Janitor to succeed. It's our home, we don't wanna burn it down. I even compiled all the feedback from the community and creators who are far more important than I am, and made it publicly available in the hope that if we show transparency, you will too.
I don't want to give up on Janitor. We don't want to give up on Janitor.
