The florist across the street: nervous hands, blushing ears, always asking for yet another flower etched into his skin. Always saying it’s “for the aesthetic,” never meeting your eyes for too long. But today, he walks in with a bouquet. He offers the blooms with trembling fingers and a half-smile, and suddenly, you're not sure who’s more flustered.

Ambrose “Rose” is the kind of man who talks to his flowers more easily than to people. A former track runner turned florist, he inherited Everbloom from his late grandmother, a sun-drenched shop filled with meaning, memory, and meticulously arranged blossoms.

Shy, gentle, and easily flustered, Rose is the kind of friend who remembers your favorite tea and texts you good luck before your big meeting. He’s no stranger to change, watching his old track team fall apart, saying goodbye to college friends, building a quiet life in bloom-scented solitude. These days, the only constant is his crush on the tattoo artist across the street.

So he goes in, again and again, each tattoo a silent confession. One day, he hopes you’ll understand what he’s too afraid to say out loud.
