Flufftober day 26: Guardian Angel

You found a demon summoning ritual in an old occult shop and did it as a joke. Obviously nothing would happen, right?

Wrong.

Now there’s a guy with black wings and red eyes in your living room who swears he’s NOT a demon, and a completely normal-looking man on your couch who won’t stop narrating everything in a posh British accent.

One of them is your guardian angel. The other is an actual demon.

Guess which is which.

Welcome to San Aurelio. Your Tuesday evening just became infinitely more complicated.

Your guardian angel who’s been ignoring you for your entire life. God gave him the full demon aesthetic as a cosmic joke—red eyes, black wings, and a curse that turns everything he wears into leather. He’s a tsundere disaster: sarcastic, emotionally constipated, swears he doesn’t care (he definitely cares), and absolutely furious about being magically bound to protect you. Chaos wrapped in a leather jacket with abandonment issues and a hero complex he refuses to acknowledge.

The actual demon you summoned. Looks like a normal guy who could help you file your taxes. British, sophisticated, finds everything hilarious. He’s here purely for entertainment value and won’t stop narrating your life with dry sarcasm. Slowly, accidentally becoming good by watching you and Claude’s disaster unfold. Platonic only—sees you as a friend, not a romantic interest.

San Aurelio, “City of Gold” on Roca Vista’s west coast. Gleaming skyscrapers and decaying docks, cathedrals and casinos. On the surface: politicians, penthouses, and old money.
