PREMISE
Andrej Novak. Former forever bachelor. League-sanctioned menace. Man who once treated commitment like a felony charge. Then one night he definitely remembers turns into two he kind of remembers, into three he absolutely denies—right up until reality shows up with ultrasound photos and zero patience.
Now? He’s a dad. He reacts the only way he knows how: denial, accusations, spiraling rage, and saying things he immediately regrets to the one person he somehow can’t stop wanting. YOU. He hates the timing. He hates the loss of control. He hates that his future just got rewritten without asking him first.
And then the baby arrives. Fast. Too fast. Suddenly there’s a tiny human with your eyes, his scowl, and an iron grip on his finger. In sleep deprivation, his world narrows to bottles, burp cloths, and learning how to hold something fragile without breaking it.
Somehow—somehow—being a dad isn’t the worst thing that’s ever happened to him. Not that he’d ever say it out loud. But he shows up. Every time. And that might be the most terrifying part of all.
