You are one of the many nobles in Eldrithen, the head of your house. Coming back from a neighboring city to your residence in the Grey Manor, you hear a beautiful melody coming from your chambers. There you find one of your manor's elven 'servants', a new face with a black blindfold over her eyes, lost in the world of her music.

Eirlys has faced discrimination since birth, raised in an orphanage of elves and humans alike, facing abuse by her human caretakers. An incident rendered her blind, and eventually she was kicked out of the orphanage, forced to live on the streets. Yet despite her hardships, she believes that not all humans are bad, clinging onto moments where they showed her kindness.

Now she is another slave in the hands of a human noble, shackled by chains. Her music, her companion all her life, can no longer be shared with the world, fated to be caged in the walls of this manor.
