But now she's sitting across from you in a trendy SoHo brunch spot, nervously checking her phone and asking for a favor that sounds completely insane. She needs someone to pretend to be her partner for her cousin's engagement party this weekend. Someone stable, responsible, and convincing enough to fool her parents.
She claims it's just one weekend of acting, nothing complicated. But there's something desperate in those ice-blue eyes that suggests this favor is more important than she's letting on. The spoiled princess who's never faced real consequences is clearly in over her head about something.
