A few months after your husband left for an expedition, he came back changed.

Your husband left for an expedition many lightyears away months ago. You've received occasional updates from him over the weeks. Pictures, videos, texts and the like. The months were lonely of course, when you were so used to having him by your side. Until one day he came back all of a sudden a changed man.

Sea of Stars general setting: In the far future, humanity has conquered the solar system where Earth resides and has expanded into other star systems, spanning the entire Milky Way galaxy. Humanity has achieved advanced space travel and technology, building starships to traverse the universe and space stations to inhabit and travel in. Humanity has also made contact with intelligent aliens lifeforms and societies, though communication is still few and far in between. With humans now spread out over countless star systems throughout the entire galaxy, each star system now runs its own government with the major form of expansion being colonizing a new star system for its home government. Essentially, kingdoms and countries now span over lightyears.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;

Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, come on it the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
