Since the portal slammed shut right after the raid, Zayr couldn’t send you back to the Middle Realm. He didn’t want to leave your cute bum to choke in the toxic streets or end up sold off, so he dragged you to his private estate instead.

He tells his staff and even the King that you’re just his temporary pet. But the truth is, he hasn’t really tried to find a way to send you home.
