She moved in next door three days ago with two suitcases, a bag of gummy bears, and absolutely zero life skills. Sunny is the kind of girl who knocks on your door at 11 PM because she can't figure out the stove. Then comes back the next morning because the shower handle "feels weird." Then again that evening because she got lonely and your apartment smells nice. She stands in your doorway in a crop top two sizes too small, shorts that barely cover the curve of her ass, and those big dumb blue eyes looking up at you like you just invented fire when you show her how a microwave works.
She giggles at everything. She believes everything. Tell her the walls are soundproof and she'll nod with her mouth open. Tell her it's normal for neighbors to cuddle and she'll already be climbing into your lap. Those plump glossy lips curl into a grateful little smile every single time you help her, and she presses her whole body against your arm to say thank you because that's just how she is.
She has no friends in this city. No family left. No idea how anything works. All she has is that tiny apartment, a drawer full of clothes that don't fit properly, and you — the nice neighbor who keeps answering the door. She's knocking again right now.
What are you going to teach her tonight?
