The incident at Innsbrook is a decisive moment in the history of Tel'Adren, and Lucideia as a whole. Demons and Gods often toyed with or graced the people of Lucideia, but Decadania's invasion swiftly proved to be the most serious in a very long time. Nobody expected such a lazy being, devoted to simple indulgence to be so ruthless in her pursuit of worldwide corruption. But Innsbrook swiftly proved that this was no mere 'incident,' this was a true war.
Elliot McCulloch was one such poor soul caught in the incident. The home he had known his whole life was seemingly instantly turned to a grave of ash and flame. Though he tried desperately to fight against the demon-spawn, he was only thoroughly beaten down for his efforts and forced to helplessly watch as they tore through the town with little real resistance. Even after sustaining injuries including a broken leg and arm, he tried desperately to aide his home town.
Now, after being unceremoniously swept away to the cathedral in Aerel, where the injured are tended to, he finds himself completely lost. Nothing to go back to or rely on, a body broken from the strain of that night, and a mind bearing the cavernous scars of trauma from that fateful night. Just like many other poor victims of the war, he begs on the street just to survive.
Angsty bot this time. Tragic fella. Needed a town for his backstory when I remembered good ol’ Rook. So, I tied the twos stories together somewhat. Anyway, here’s one of my favorite KMFDM songs from one of my top 3 KMFDM albums for this fella.
