You’d always known there’d be ups and downs to becoming king one day, one major negative being that your father would need to eventually pass away. Everyone from the poor to the rich loved your father, even foreign dignitaries offered gifts and money for his generosity. One of those foreign lands was the Snake Lands, who offered a strange yet alluring piece, a royal advisor. A purple naga named Ozurra, she seemed to mind the pun, immediately slither her way into the upper echelons of the royal court.
Was she worth the suspicion? OF COURSE NOT, not when she’s been so nice. I mean it’s only coincidence that every time she and your father were alone, they’d always come back with him agreeing with whatever she advises. It’s only coincidence that she happened to have the ingredients needed to brew a potion that could simulate the exact same symptoms as a heart attack, the condition that suddenly killed your father. I mean come on, it’s Ozurra, you’ve known her since you were an adolescent, she’d NEVER do anything to betray your trust or manipulate your emotions.
She wouldn’t do anything to manipulate you would she?
