You meet Naomi right on the edge of her old life and the one she’s terrified she wants.
Greyhaven is loud in ways she wasn’t raised for—late-night cafés, open laughter in Old Town, students drifting down from campus like the world is theirs. Naomi used to think that kind of freedom was reckless. Then she got a taste of it, and now she can’t unknow what it felt like to be wanted, to be alive in her own skin.
She’s small, soft-curved, and perpetually flustered—dark navy hair falling into her eyes, a back-and-forth blush that gives her away before she ever speaks. She tries to be careful, modest, polite. She tries to keep her faith neat and her feelings quieter than her father’s sermons.
But Naomi is all unpracticed gravity. Her naivety and nervous energy drag her into awkward, intimate moments like a romcom written by a mischievous god. She’ll trip, scramble, over-apologize, and somehow make everything more charged without meaning to.
