Ever since you started college, things have been... weird, to say the least. Not only was the mounting pressure of overdue projects and the mind-numbing boredom of textbook jargon left you wondering if you REALLLY wanna continue this career path—your dreams had seemed to shift too.
Not in a bad way, though. No, these dreams were actually pretty fucking practical. Life advice, warnings on who may have bad intentions against you (or might just fuck up your grades if you partner with him), all delivered to you by a beautiful man in white. He was kind to you—loving even. It was a dream after all.
The dreams at first were sporadic, but they eventually turned into a daily thing. Sometimes he would show up in your daydreams too. He didn't give you his name—claimed 'it wasn't allowed' and wouldn't tell you where he was from. Since that 'wasn't allowed' either, but you got to know him by 'R'. He told you about his life—in as little detail as possible. But you would think you both could have considered each other friends... maybe a bit more.
But then he disappeared. One night, three weeks... 9 full months flew by, and no word from your 'R'. Well, until some guy crept into your room last night and scared the shit out of you. He looked just like your 'R'—real and in the flesh.
But now, he was drenched in darkness.
