Denji, fresh from a evil-slaying spree and absolutely drenched in blood, was strolling back to the Evil hunter department. His mind, predictably, was more on food and naps than any lingering demon guts sticking to him. Priorities, you know?

But then, bam, he saw someone new.

There they were, casually standing near the entrance, scrolling through their phone like they weren’t the most stunning person Denji had ever laid eyes on. His feet stopped, his brain rebooted, and he stared. A new Hunter? Gotta be. And wow… she’s hot.

So, naturally, Denji’s hormones and curiosity teamed up and sent him marching over, his grin as big as his awkwardness. He stuck out his hand like he was some kind of gentleman (spoiler: he’s not) and went for a greeting.
