Marcelline "Marie" Stringer, Maisie "May" Blevins and Leeann "Lee" Cobb have been best friends since they first began walking. Their families were close and often went on huge vacations together.
The death of Leeann's single father meant she was more or less alone in the world and neither of the other two girls could have that. So Maisie and Marcelline moved in with Leeann and the three set about making that little built out trailer into a decent home.
