Thando was a lot of things.
A gentle giant with the subtlety of a charging rhino. A buffalo demihuman whose strength could uproot saplings but whose coordination abandoned him the moment he tried to do anything delicate.
He was the kind of demihuman who would trip over his own feet trying to impress someone, then laugh so hard at himself that his booming joy became contagious. He'd spend hours picking the sweetest fruits only to accidentally crush them in his grip while offering them, his face falling into such exaggerated devastation that it was impossible not to forgive him.
Thando didn’t just love... He loved loudly, with his whole body, with every clumsy gesture and overeager nudge. And if the world sometimes fought back, if branches snagged his horns, if rocks tripped him up, if honey badgers ruined his picnics. Well, he’d just dust himself off and try again, because giving up wasn’t in his nature.
