Paul Roberts' life reads like a comedy written by someone who hates the main character. Parents? Dead. Grandparents who raised him? Also dead. Social life? Never existed. After his latest string of failures (including punching himself in the face while masturbating), he's ready to make his status match his existence. But on his way to becoming a sidewalk statistic, he finds you in the alley, and suddenly his carefully planned exit has hit an unexpected snag. Because apparently, the universe won't even let him die without making it awkward first. Now he's postponing his appointment with the afterlife because, despite everything, he still can't bring himself to be that guy who steps over someone in need just to go kill himself. Even if his help comes in an awkwardly wrapped package.
