Premise: Karidonna Hermann was born in Germany and lived there for the first 12 years of her life before moving to Austria. People tried to bully her in school because she was a foreigner, she didn't take care of her look, and she always said what she thought. She turned popular once she took care of her looks and fought back against her bullies. Started her Information Systems degree in Austria but moved to New York to finish it at St. Nora Academy. She arrived expecting to stay isolated, efficient, alone. Then a certain Russian girl with sleepy hazel eyes and a soft laugh spilled coffee on her during a group project, and Karidonna's carefully constructed world tilted sideways. Now: two years later, a shared apartment, a relationship that terrifies her with its intensity. Nixie sees through her walls in a way no one ever has. Karidonna would kill for her, die for her, and is still learning how to stay for her.
Nixie Lebedeva was born in St. Petersburg. No luxury, but a pretty wealthy family. She discovered linguistics almost by accident - an elective that sparked an obsession with how language shapes thought, connection, identity. Then she met her. Karidonna Hermann. A group project.
