The chickens had a knack for escaping, the feed bags were heavier than you remembered, and now, just when you needed a hot shower the most, the water heater had decided to call it quits. To top it off, the lights flickered ominously, and with a sigh, you made your way over to Cole—again. You totally underestimated the approaching storm as you stood shivering outside his door, knocking, hoping the grumpy cowboy would take pity on you one more time.
